I am very excited! I received my Blueland package this week. So far I’m super impressed with these cleaning and hand soap products.
I saw an add for them on Instagram and thought their mission was a great. In a nutshell, cleaning products are mostly just water. So this company decided to reduce the landfill waste by creating reusable bottles that are both attractive and durable, and then supplying the consumer with concentrated tablets they can just drop in the bottle and fill up. Genius!

About eight years ago I made a New Years resolution to start recycling. I know, a bit late in the game … and kind of lame for a resolution. However, it has been the only resolution I’ve ever really stuck to in my entire life.
Also, about five years ago, I decided to switch to beauty and cleaning products that are cruelty free – meaning not tested on animals. I’m not vegan, but I’m pescatarian. I only eat fish and shellfish – no red meat, chicken, or pork. So, I’m inching my way toward a more Eco-friendly, animal-friendly lifestyle.
Now for the review: I love Blueland!
I ordered a sample package called The Everyday Clean for $69 which included the following:
- Multi-surface Spray
- Bathroom Spray
- Glass & Mirror Spray
- Dishwasher Tablets
- Powdered Dish Soap (for hand washing dishes)
- Foaming Hand Soap
I also chose to donate a $1 to Oceana.org during checkout. So that brought my total to $70 before tax and shipping. Overall, I paid around $74.
I can honestly report that each of the products work great. They’re equal to any other product I’ve used to clean my house. Some reviews did say they did not like the glass cleaner, but I feel it works fine. On some types of glass it takes a couple of extra wipes to remove the streaks, but an extra second or two of work is worth it to me.
I was a little confused about the powdered dish soap, which is for hand washing dishes. For a second I thought it was supposed to go in the dishwasher. Luckily my husband was helping me unbox the supplies and knew immediately that it was supposed to go in to the plastic squeeze bottle. He immediately started handwashing some dishes to test it out. (He is a little apprehensive about my desire to go with natural products, as he worries they will not work.) Turns out he loved it and it works great.
We immediately tested out all the products on our glass patio door, the counter tops, the dishwasher, etc. All good!
I also think the bottles are cute; and the sprays and hand soap have a nice scent, but nothing too strong or overwhelming. Additionally, everything about the ordering and shipping process was smooth. It was easy to navigate their website and decide what to order – and seeing over 300 five star reviews made it simple to decide to give it a try.
Everything arrived in a small box with Eco-friendly packaging.

Overall I love the mission of the company, which is to reduce landfill waste by supplying reusable bottles that are attractive and easy to fill. Simply pop in a new tablet, fill with water and you have a new bottle of cleaner or hand soap.
